04:12 The Richard
Dimbleby Lecture, James Dyson
Wed 8 Dec, 11:15 pm - 12:00 am 45mins
James Dyson industrialist, designer, and inventor of the
famous vacuum cleaner delivers the annual lecture in memory
of the broadcaster Richard Dimbleby.
He questions why we have become less interested in manufacturing
and engineering at the expense of the service industries.
He argues that, contrary to expectations, in the 21st century
Britain needs to make some dramatic changes, both in society
and in the city, to secure Britain's future
