PROJECT: Installation for the Ludwig Museum in Budapest

Azhar is to collaborate with artist Robin Sperling for a series of installations commissioned by the Ludwig Museum in Budapest. The themes will include room installations named "Incenduary", "Wall of Silence", and a tripartite on three planes "The Trace, The Freeze and The Dust Collector". One of the rooms will be laid with a clay, made from the dried silt of the Danube, to record the traces of the visitors to the gallery. These "clay" plates will then be fired and displayed on the walls of the next gallery. Another proposal for the Ludwig proposes its "marking" at a large scale visible from the other side of the city.
