EVENT: "Rogues and Vagabonds"
Azhar is the chair for the "Rogues and Vagabonds",
taking on from Roger Pollard and Professor Geraint John. "Rogues
and Vagabond" has a long history, and is a suitable title
for a club for former students of the Bartlett School of Architecture.
He will handover to James Soane to be chair for 2004.
The idea is to bring next year and through a series of
events, to bring face to face the past, the contemporary
and the future of the role of The Bartlett, but also architecture
education in general. It is also an opportunity to meet
ones contemporaries, but also an opportunity to create a
debate with the different generations of students.
This years guest speaker is to be Professor Will Alsop,
please contact Azhar for more details

| PROJECT:
Installation for the Ludwig Museum in Budapest
Azhar is to collaborate
with artist Robin Sperling for a series of installations
commissioned by the Ludwig Museum in Budapest. The themes
will include room installations named "Incenduary",
"Wall of Silence", and a tripartite on three planes
"The Trace, The Freeze and The Dust Collector".
One of the rooms will be laid with a clay, made from the
dried silt of the Danube, to record the traces of the visitors
to the gallery. These "clay" plates will then
be fired and displayed on the walls of the next gallery.
Another proposal for the Ludwig proposes its "marking"
at a large scale visible from the other side of the city.
